Keeping difficulty

Beginner : Ideal for those new to aquarium keeping.

Easy : Suitable for hobbyists with some experience.

Medium : Requires knowledge and some diligence in maintaining specific environmental conditions.

Difficult : Demands advanced knowledge and dedicated care to sustain the appropriate environment.

Purchase availability

Very common : Widely available at local pet stores.

Common : Generally available at local pet stores.

Rare : Less likely to be found at local pet stores.

Very rare : Usually requires special sourcing.

Social behavior

Schooling : Must be kept in groups of six or more of their kind.

Social : It's much better for their health and behavior to live in groups.

Solitary : Can or should be kept alone.

Agression level

Peaceful : Mostly calm but may have some minor squabbles.

Mostly peaceful : Might fight over space or mates, or eat much smaller fish.

Agressive : Can be very territorial. Needs a lot of room to live with others peacefully.

Breeding difficulty

Easy : Often breeds without needing special water conditions.

Medium : Might breed with some extra care.

Hard : Needs specific steps to breed successfully.

No record : No known cases of breeding by fishkeepers.

Bottom : Swims or rests on the bottom of the tank.

Middle : Mostly swims in the middle.
